Workforce Solutions partners directly with leading small to mid-sized CPA firms across the United States to connect them with top talent in the public accounting industry. We are currently working with a growing CPA firm based in San Bernadino, California seeking talent to join their team at their San Bernadino or San Antonio offices or remotely.

What's the role?

Bookkeepers are a key part of the CAS team working with clients to provide support for bookkeeping, payroll, and QuickBooks always ensuring compliance with GAAP and related tax rules and regulations. This includes:

  • Providing full-charge bookkeeping services to multiple clients using QuickBooks.
  • Processing payrolls including direct deposits and generating monthly/quarterly/year -end statements.
  • Providing QuickBooks support and consulting including training clients on managing their records in QB on an as-needed basis.
  • Supporting clients by providing a catch-up of the year's financial activity to produce tax returns.

What experience and skills do I need to be successful?

  • Intermediate to advanced skills in QuickBooks software.
  • Accounting/bookkeeping experience in a business or CPA firm setting is a plus.
  • A two-year Associate Degree in Accounting is a plus but not required if you have an equivalent level of bookkeeping experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Oral and written communication skills to support building client relationships.

What will my schedule look like?

This role works during office hours Monday-Friday. The role can work onsite or hybrid in San Bernadino, CA, or San Antonio, TX. The firm will also consider remote candidates who bring strong experience.
