Help make the world a better place by assisting seniors who can no longer drive get to their appointments, events, and errands. Examples of Duties

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Day in the life: Dickinson Hall is a dynamic community senior center primarily serving residents from the Lake Forest & Lake Bluff area. Drive Dickinson Hall's vehicle - under the direction of the Transportation Coordinator Assist and deliver riders to destinations Drive 1 to 2 days a week This is an excellent opportunity for retired individuals that are looking for something to occupy their time. Role and Expectations: Drive older adults to and from medical appointments, grocery shopping, or other local errands Assist seniors in and out of the car when necessary Keep vehicle clean and full of gas This is a 1 or 2 day a week position, hours are 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, weekdays Qualifications At least 18 years of age Valid Driver's License Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. Possess excellent customer service skills Excellent driving record Friendly and patient personality is essential No benefits are associated with this position. City of Lake Forest, IL
