**Position Title: Human Resources Consultant**

**Key Responsibilities:**

As a Human Resources Consultant, you will be responsible for creating Affirmative Action Plans and related reports for employers of various sizes. Your consultancy expertise will provide invaluable audit support and advice to our clients. You will also serve as a vital resource for Affirmative Action principles and regulations, facilitating public, non-public, and online training courses.

1. Develop multiple client contracts to create Affirmative Action Plans, EEO-1 reports, VETS-4212 reports, and various government reports while ensuring profitability, quality, and outstanding customer service.

2. Guide new clients through the onboarding process by explaining data and compliance requirements involved in the AAP development process.

3. Offer expert consulting on Affirmative Action concepts, compliance requirements, and AAP results through effective communication and plan review sessions.

4. Prepare audit Affirmative Action Plans with support from senior consultants or audit advisors.

5. Cultivate lasting client relationships by providing affirmative action and general HR guidance, tailoring solutions to meet business needs, and identifying opportunities for additional services.

6. Conduct peer-level quality reviews of completed Affirmative Action Plans to assure accuracy and completeness.

7. Provide coaching and feedback to Associate HR Consultants on a project basis.

8. Lead or facilitate training sessions for balanceAAP software and Fundamentals of Affirmative Action Planning.

9. Participate in large consulting projects involving multiple plans as a team member or lead.

10. Contribute to industry-related blogs and assist in the organization of webinars.

11. Attend meetings with industry organizations and groups to stay connected and informed.

12. Stay updated on industry knowledge through seminars, professional literature, and communicate significant regulatory changes to clients.

13. Document work progress and maintain relevant information using internal tools for account and project management.

**Required Skills:**

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Understanding of affirmative action principles and regulations
- Familiarity with balanceAAP or similar AAP software preferred
- Knowledge of human resources concepts and federal and state employment laws
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
- Effective facilitation and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled in performing algebraic and statistical calculations
- Capability to research and analyze various information types

**Preferred Skills:**

- Familiarity with balanceAAP or similar AAP software

**Experience:**

- Minimum of 5 years in human resources, with at least 3-5 years of experience in affirmative action principles and regulations
- Willingness to travel up to 10%

**Education:**

- Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field; equivalent relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of education.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- HR certification is a plus

**Salary:** $76,500 - $85,000 annually
