Our programs support multiple Federal agencies, including the Department of Defense. We are seeking a Senior Software Tester to support our customers operations in Dahlgren, Virginia. This effort provides our Government customer with software support services. This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and implement unit level test procedures
• Document test plans and procedures in Developer Test Descriptions
• Perform software element integration test prior to release of the software to the appropriate Divisions Software Integration Engineering function
• Generate and perform capability test procedures in order to verify complete functional coverage of all new/modified code
• Generate procedures and scripts and perform automated testing
• The Contractor shall perform testing in accordance with established processes and procedures as is defined in the approved SDP

Essential Requirements:

• US Citizenship
• Active Secret Clearance

Required Experience:

• Minimum ten (10) years since award of Bachelors degree, or Minimum eight (8) years since award of Masters degree, or Minimum five (5) years since award of PhD degree
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in DOD sensor or weapon system software test of with a minimum of 200,000 source lines of code

Education and Certifications:

• A Bachelors degree from a school of engineering with at least one curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) as a professional engineering curriculum in one of the following fields: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electronics Engineering, or Software Engineering

OR

• A Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand, and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to workstation. Occasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/ stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be required. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and the public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
