We are offering a contract-to-hire opportunity for a skilled Social Media Manager in Houston, Texas. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple social media accounts across various platforms, overseeing the content calendar and team of content creators, and developing an effective social media strategy. Your role will be crucial in managing the CPG and health/fitness industry's social media presence.

Responsibilities:

• Management of various social media accounts including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Podcast/Spotify, TikTok

• Oversee and direct a team of content creators to ensure high-quality content

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand visibility and engagement

• Utilize Hootsuite and Co-Scheduler, and other similar tools, for scheduling and publishing social media posts

• Maintain a thorough understanding of local trends to ensure relevancy in social media campaigns

• Collaborate with the team to manage and develop content calendars

• Write engaging and compelling social media copy to promote brand awareness and boost engagement

• Monitor and analyze Facebook Insights and other analytics tools to gauge the success of social media initiatives

• Utilize on-site SEO strategies to enhance the visibility of social media content

• Manage and oversee social media advertisements and campaigns to reach a wider audience.

FULLY ONSITE IN HOUSTON!

• Proven experience in managing social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Podcasts

• Experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry is a MUST!

• Proficiency in using social media management tools like Hootsuite and Facebook Insights

• Demonstrated ability to create and implement effective social media campaigns and initiatives

• Strong understanding of social media strategies aimed at increasing brand awareness

• Familiarity with various social media channels and their specific requirements

• Experience in creation, scheduling, and management of social media advertisements

• Knowledge of on-site SEO techniques to enhance social media engagement

• Ability to use social media platforms to increase audience engagement and build brand loyalty

• Demonstrated experience in analyzing social media metrics and adjusting strategies based on data

• Strong understanding of how to utilize social media platforms to effectively reach target demographics

• Experience in managing and coordinating social media content calendars

• Ability to work independently and in a team to develop innovative social media initiatives

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey the brand's message on social media platforms.
