Monroe Staffing is a division of Staffing 360 Solutions. We are hiring a Forklift Driver for a large distribution center in Fulton, NY. The Forklift Driver will safely operate forklifts and other PIVs (powered industrial vehicles) to handle, transport, and organize materials in a large warehouse environment. The ideal candidate must possess proven experience in forklift operation, valid certification, and a driver's license. Absolutely must have experience with the following types of forklifts: Reach Truck, Cherry Picker / Order Picker / Order Selector, and Dock Stocker forklift. No exceptions. Pay rate: $18.50/HourSchedule: 1st Shift Responsibilities of the Forklift Driver:

• Forklift Operator operates various PIVs (powered industrial vehicles) including forklifts, cherry pickers, reach forklifts, and sit-down/stand-up forklifts.
• Performing tasks such as receiving, stocking, storing, handling, and labeling goods and materials within a warehouse setting.
• Efficiently picking, filling, and preparing orders with accuracy and thoroughness.
• Assembling customer orders from stored items or incoming shipments for loading onto outbound vehicles.
• Collaborating safely and cooperatively with fellow warehouse associates.
• Lifting and/or moving items weighing up to 25 pounds, occasionally handling objects weighing up to 65 pounds.
• Participating in special projects and carrying out additional responsibilities.
• Receiving training in the safe operation of forklifts and other powered equipment to properly place and retrieve products from designated storage areas while fulfilling order-picking tasks.
• Unloading, transferring, stacking, and positioning products and materials using forklifts, reach trucks, and other powered equipment.
• Arranging individual items on pallets as needed, and repacking and weighing orders with specific handling requirements.

Qualifications for the Forklift Driver:

• Experience with the following types of forklifts: Reach Truck, Cherry Picker / Order Picker / Order Selector, and Dock Stocker forklift. No exceptions.
• RF Scanner experience is extremely helpful
• Forklift certification required
• Valid driver's license required
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be 18 years old or older
• Successful completion of a pre-employment 7-year background screening and drug/alcohol test is necessary.
• Frequent physical exertion, including lifting to 50lbs, bending, squatting, kneeling, walking, and standing in a warehouse environment.
