Inventory Specialist - $60k-$70k/annually DOE!

Integrity Trade Services is hiring an Inventory Specialist for our flow creation and industrial products client to start immediately at $60k-$70k/annually DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!

Responsibilities:

The Inventory Control Specialist serves as the facility's primary expert in identifying and addressing inventory challenges. This role involves conducting regular and ad-hoc cycle counts, leading the annual full inventory count, managing scrap adjustments, and providing guidance on inventory management processes. The specialist will analyze root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement improvement measures, while also advising operations leaders on enhancing inventory control procedures.

• Execute accurate physical counts for cycle count inventory issues.
• Oversee and coordinate full inventory count events, providing clear guidelines and directions.
• Monitor and trace stock movements across all locations.
• Disseminate cycle count results throughout the organization.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis on discrepancies and problem areas, proposing corrective actions beyond physical counts.
• Document and maintain cycle count records.
• Serve as the on-site expert for SAP transactions.
• Discover and implement cost-saving measures and inventory reduction opportunities.
• Oversee excess and obsolete inventory, collaborating with Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing to minimize waste.
• Exemplify Conscious Leadership principles, applying insights from Radical Leadership Retreats and embodying company values daily.
• Utilize Tuthill Business Systems (TBS) and Conscious Company tools to fulfill duties and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain vigilance regarding company safety protocols and standards, promoting a culture of safety and responsible risk management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Location: Alsip, IL

Schedule/Shift Details: 7:30am to 4:30pm

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree required, preferably in Business Administration
• Recognized certification in inventory management and control
• Minimum five years of experience in industries where inventory management is crucial
• APICS membership preferred; strong working knowledge of APICS principles acceptable
• Essential manufacturing environment experience
• Comprehensive understanding of material flow and product knowledge
• SAP proficiency preferred; experience with comparable business systems considered
• Familiarity with lean production and management concepts
• Capacity for independent thinking
• Strong team collaboration skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
